You need to be aware that car rentals in Fiji are not cheap compared to Australia and New Zealand. There are a number of reasons for this, including the fact that vehicle prices and import duty are much higher, so it costs the rental company a lot more to buy and upgrade vehicles.

Example: In Australia, to hire a standard small saloon car (Yarris, small Corolla or similar) from an airport location, you would expect to pay as low as AU$30-40 per day. If you are in NZ, then prices are a bit higher, the same vehicle will probably cost around AU$55-65*.

In Fiji, the cheapest vehicle we could find with HERTZ was FJ$180+ per day or the equivalent of AU$125*.

Payment Policy to secure your booking. 

  • We accept payment for your service by credit card. 
  • 20% Non-Refundable deposit required to secure your booking and balance payable at your arrival.

No-shows & Cancellation Policy.

  • Bookings cancelled 24 hours before departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee
  • Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Postponements due to flight or marine operator delays can be rebooked for later date.
  • Any payment made relating to travel service is non-refundable.

Terms of Service

  • Minimum age for drivers is 25 years with a full valid license.
  • Baby seats are available upon request at $15/seat per day.
  • Insurance Excess is $5,000 which can be reduced to $2500 by paying $25 additional per day. Please note that Fiji does have Zero excess insurance policy.  Therefore its worth paying additional F$25 per day and reduce your excess to F$2500.00
  • A bond of  F$500.00 will be required at the time of hire. It will be refunded at the time when the vehicle has returned without any damages.
  • Insurance Excess can only be reduced on 4 or more rental days.
  • On return of vehicle, please ensure petrol/diesel is filled. Failure to do so will incur refuelling fee of $30.00 plus refuelling charges.
  • All prices are in cash Fijian dollars. All overseas card payment has a surcharge of 5%.
  • Only signed, authorized drivers are allowed to drive the rental. Duty of care is to be taken by the renter at all times during possession of rental.
  • Please stay within speed limit as there are speed cameras on our roads. Traffic infringements will incur Fine + $50.00 administration fee per notice.
  • Please refrain from loading fish and other like items which may leave a bad smell or stain in the vehicle. Detailing fee starting from $280.00 will be charged for any such cases.
  • On return of vehicle, please ensure petrol/diesel is filled. Failure to do so will incur refueling fee of $30.00 plus fuel charges.
  • Rental to be returned as per the time and location on rental agreement to avoid any charges.
  • All rental extensions to be requested and paid for at least 48 hours in advance. Extension approval is subject to availability
  • Any violation of terms and conditions may lead to termination of rental agreement
  • A cleaning fee of F$25.00 will be charged when returning the vehicle.

Finding Us on Arrival at the Nadi International Airport
Upon arriving at Nadi International Airport, clear immigration, pick up your luggage, and pass through Customs. After exiting Customs, head to the Fiji Airports Limited Customer Help Desk for directions to meet PVV TOURS &  RENTALS  drivers . Our driver will be waiting you at the buss loading zone, where they will have your name on a signboard. After verifying your identity with your name, PVV drivers will  escort to your  vehicle for airport transfers and car hire.
